Street Fighter: The Movie Sony PlayStation 1 1995 Mint Long Box Complete

Goddamn! Just when I thought it could not get any better or worse, I find this gem. Playstation really did make just as many bad games as they did good. I love this quote from the seller, “Battle it out one-on-one fighting style as you pound your opponents into oblivion. Perform special moves and devastating attacks to come out on top. Grab a friend and relive the hit movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in Sony PlayStation’s Street Fighter The Movie.” They actually say the word relive, as if watching this shit fest wasn’t bad enough, now I have to relive it with old bump head muscles from Brussels. Just so you know at the time of posting, there was one bid on this game. Someone out there wants to relive this movie. jeancap you just may sell this.

PS3 60GB Backwards Compatible **MINT w/ Original Box and Accessories

jenlynn76 is selling a rare Playstation 3. This is one of the original systems from the second wave of PS3. It feature external ports on the front/top of the machine. There is also a 60 gig harddrive and Blu-ray player. The best part about this PS3 is that it is backwards compatible. That means you can play your PS1 and PS2 games. It is really hard to find one cheap these days.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

When the Playstation first came out everyone was all over the polygon graphics and marveling at blocks that kinda looked like people walking around like Frankenstein. Everyone was like ‘fuck 2-D games, that shit’s played out’, then Castlevania: Symphony of the Night hit and blew people’s minds. Instead of trying to make a 3-D game they went old school and made probably the best 2-D Castlevania ever. The game was a hybrid of 2-D side scrolling action and RPG elements, allowing players to level up the main character by destroying any and everything. You play as Alucard, the son of Count Dracula, and in case you’re wondering yes his name is Dracula in reverse, yeah you see what they did there, pretty deep huh? The story is pretty much non-existent, go into Dracula’s castle and fuck shit up, the end. There are hundreds of weapons to play around with and different abilities to unlock, like being able to transform into a bat or wolf. One last thing to mention is the artwork, the game art was done by Ayami Kojima, whose art style has became a staple of the Castlevania franchise. I can only hope that one day they can make a Castlevania game that rivals her art.cjmarq2345 is selling this brand new sealed game for a ridiculous price. But if you gotta have it, you gotta have it.

Love for the Playstation

I decided to make this post about Playstation…  Not PS3 or even PS2, just plain old PLAYSTATION!  Here are 2 of my favorite underrated games followed by 2 of my all time favorites (complete with old school long boxes!).

Intelligent Qube

This game is very unique and very awesome!  A 3D puzzle game where you are a character on the actual game board and you have to do certain moves in order to get rid of blocks cloming at you while avoiding being either A) Knocked off the ledge or B) Squashed to death by a block.  If you have not played this game, GO PLAY IT!!!  This game needs a re-release / re-make!

Jumping Flash Long Box
Posted by: scavenger4
Another one that I think did not get enough play is Jumping Flash.  Playing as a rabbit jumping from platform to platform.  One of the few 1st person view platformers that actually works well!  They made a sequal to the game which was just as good.  I am pretty sure this is a Sony exclusive property, why they have not made a new one since the days of the OG PS is beyond me.

Twisted Metal Long Box
Posted by: fortunefinders
One of the first PS games I got was Twisted Metal and it quickly found it’s way onto my favorites list.  Me and my brother would play this all night either 2 player or usually we would just takes turns swapping back and forth each round playing 1 player.  Such an awesome game.  Back in the day I even had my mom make my birthday cake look like Sweet Tooth’s truck!!!  I need to find that photo damn it…

Resident Evil Long Box
Posted by: ddavies03
And of course, Resident Evil!  I remember playing this game and feeling like I had never felt before while playing a video game.  Before this it was fighting games, puzzle games, platformers, and the occasional RPG for me.  Survival Horror quickly became my favorite genre after playing this.  This was the first game that I bought a Memory Card for since I would play for hours and not be able to save.  All the other PS games I had played upto that point it wasn’t a huge deal but with Resident Evil, yeah…  That was a problem. Newness: Call of Duty: Black Ops

I need to make a post about this though I have yet to play it which pains me. The new COD game is out if you didn’t know (sarcasm anyone?) and they released 3 different editions of the game. Why not! Why spend $59.99 on a game when you can spend more than double on the game and an RC car!!! On to the breakdown!

Call of Duty: Black Ops Regular Edition
Posted by: wrestlerlink80
Might as well start with the one most frugal folks are getting. I barely ever buy anything other than the regular editions. I am a GAMER, I want to play the GAME! This edition come with the game. Yup, it comes with the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Hardened Edition
Posted by: jeffreybconaway
Hardened edition. For those that want to waste money, but not get anything for the extra money. What “extra” do you get? The game comes in a metal case (like ALL special editions… I want to know when this gimmick is going to get old), a medal with display case (I don’t need this for any reason whatsoever), four exclusive co-op levels (one of the only things I would be interested in), and an Xbox Live of PSN Network Avatar outfit! Oh boy! An extra $20 for some co-op maps that will probably be released in a pack in a few months with some others for $15? I think I’ll pass on Hardened…

Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition
Posted by: buy
Prestige Edition, the big daddy, the bank breaker! Retailing at $149.99, which will buy you 2 new games and $30 worth of Microsoft or PSN points this beast comes with the above mentioned Hardened Edition stuff as well as… A remote controlled track with a camera built in? Yeah… I thought the COD that came with the night vision goggles was a pretty cool idea but I don’t know what I think of this. I can’t see anyone using this RC car past one or two full battery charges which would only last about 10 minutes. I would rather pass on the RC car and get another game with the extra cash.

New Release – Dead Rising 2

Zombie lovers rejoice! Dead Rising 2 is here! Now all I hope is that this one has readable text and a better save system that doesn’t leave you screwed if you save at the wrong time such as I did. Now onto the special editions!

Outbreak Edition – This looks to be a European or maybe just Australian special edition which includes the game (PAL Version), 12” Fully Articulated Zombie Figurine, Sports Fan Theme Pack (whatever that is), Tape It Or Die Catalogue (your very own guide to making household objects into zombie killing combo weapons), Dead Rising Sun (full length Zombie movie, set in the world of Dead Rising) and The making of Dead Rising 2. Seems like a pretty sweet collection, but not for the price. Not even close.

High Stakes Edition – This one is for the High Rollers out there, the big daddy of collectors editions! The High Stakes Edition is pretty damn sick looking and comes with the following: Dead Rising 2 game (of course), Poker Set in a black high-impact case sporting the Fortune City Logo, Fortune City Visitor Map, Terror Is Reality XVII admission ticket with redemption code for the unique ‘Psycho’ costume, and The chance at discovering the ‘Golden’ Terror Is Reality XVII admission ticket which only ONE of the DR2 High Stakes Edition will have this which is redeemable for a 6 inch figure. Why this doesn’t include the video like the AUS version is beyond me.

Zombrex Edition – Here is the regular collectors edition. Typical metal case but this has a few extras: DR2 game, steel case, Making of disc, Zombrex syringe pen (the coolest item in the set), Zombrex prescription notepad, Zombrex safety card, Zombrex sales brochure, XMB dynamic theme, and DR2 Hardcover art book. Pretty decent for the “low end” collectors edition.

And as a “bonus” item, I thought I would throw this one up. It is an auction for the jacket as seen on the main character in the game. This one is listed as a “Private Auction” for one person so I wouldn’t suggest bidding, but still a cool item to check out.

This is a triumph…

What could overshadow the release of Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 on one disc for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC? Introducing a “little” thrown in bonus title called PORTAL! This game is incredible and one of the most unique games to come out in recent years. When I describe Portal to people that don’t know, I say it is a “first person puzzle game” and then need to explain what that means. The basics of the game are the portal guns. Shoot a blue portal in one spot, shoot a orange portal in another spot and walk right thru from one to the other. Speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out!

Here it is, and nice and CHEAP! As of the posting of this auction this was only $2.99 including the shipping costs. If you don’t have this game, GET IT! I have the stand alone version of Portal thru Xbox Live which has a couple extras.

Feeling a bit dressy? Need a companion to the prom? Look no further than the Companion Cube Cufflinks! Your love cannot be separated!

Does your lady friend (you have a lady friend?) want to match your excellent cufflinks? Companion Cube Earrings are the way to go!

Ok, I am posting this one up as a warning… Why do people actually buy stuff off of eBay for more than the official site is selling it for? This auction lists this plush Companion Cube for $49.99 plus $7.99 shipping (total being $57.98) where as Valve.com has it for $29.95 plus $10.00 shipping (total being $39.95). I don’t get when people don’t check official sites first but to each their own! I just know I would rather buy from the source, especially at a lower price.

Some nice vinyl stickers. I know a TON of people make TONS of these on eBay, but I really dig the Cube and the Cake Love / Lies combo. Would look nice on opposite ends of my 91 Olds rear window.

This is NOT the same PORTAL but is actually an old Commodore 64 “game” that came out. I say “game” because by the sound of it, this “Portal” is more of a computer novel than a game.  Here is some info about the game but it basically sounds like they mixed on screen text stories with some text adventure style gaming from the days of old. Thought it would be a funny one to throw up on this celebration of portal.

and no celebration would be complete without cake!

***end celebration***

Fantasy? Finally!

Time to post up some items from what is arguably one of the biggest RPGs in the video game world. Final Fantasy! Now, I can say I have never beat a whole FF game but I can’t even begin to think of how many hours I put into FF7 for the Playstation. I would get home from school and turn it right on. Here are some cool items I found for FF! A lot of cosplay stuff is available for the series which doesn’t surprise me…

A full size replica of the Gunblade from Final Fantasy XIII. This may be a full size replica but… It doesn’t turn into the sword. But, you are in luck because…

A full size replica of the Gunblade SWORD from Final Fantasy XIII! Yeah, I guess they couldn’t figure out a way to make one that would transform. Either that, or they just wanted to sell the same item twice!

This is a rare item indeed! Only 50 were made for a Nintendo Power contest back in the day and it was for the OG Final Fantasy which makes it even more rare since it was back in the “old school” days.

Here is some wording from the listing: “This awesome collectable is a must-have for the serious collector and Final Fantasy enthusiast. Only 50 Final Fantasy crystal orbs were made and distributed worldwide (Nintendo Power said the mold was broken after making the orbs). It is made of solid lead crystal. The crystal orb is etched with the legend ‘Final Fantasy’; a shield with a crossed axe and sword are etched above. This can be viewed when looking through the crystal orb. The orb has been signed by the artist, Kusak.”

Check out the rest of the pictures of the orb HERE.

Final Fantasy XII Judge Master Gabranth statue. Thing looks impressive! They had up full scale Gabranth mask, but I like the figure more. Reminds me of some Boris Vallejo artwork.

A full set of Final Fantasy figures released by Square Soft back in 1997. The person that posted this up stated it took them 5 years to piece this whole set together and I wouldn’t doubt it! There were also only 3000 of each made so take that into consideration and all the people that only bought a few hear and there, the amount of full sets in anyone’s collection must be pretty low.

Warning: Biohazard

Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan) has some of the best merchandise / collectible stuff out there for any video game in my opinion. It is also one of my all time favorite video game series so I decided to make a post on some rare / interesting items I have found.

A Resident Evil first aid kit may come in handy if the zombies actually ever do come for us. I like everything in this auction! It is just full of AWESOME and I know I will be saying this a lot but Japanese gamers get the coolest stuff. This kit was actually a prize that people could win playing a Biohazard Pachinko Slot Machine!

How awesome is that! Unfortunatly, I could not find one for sale. 😉

These keys right here should be familiar to any old school RE fan. These are full scale reproductions (can you say “reproduction” if the item’s were never real in the first place?) of the mansion keys used in the original Resident Evil. They actually made 4 different keys and only gave away 1 key to each person that attended the 1996 Tokyo Game Show so to get all 4 was nearly imposible. Said to be the rarest RE collectible, even seeing 2 of them posted up is a hard thing to find.

Movie props! Premiere Collectibles, one of the biggest prop sellers on ebay always get their hands on the Resident Evil movie props. They have a ton of them posted up right here at Premiere Props. This one is my favorite of what is posted up now thought I am usually more of a sucker for any of the props with the Umbrella logo on them.

If a gun is used in a Resident Evil (or to be more specific, BIOHAZARD) game then they have made an Airsoft gun replica and alot of them are licensed by Capcom. Not too many games that I know of have a line of guns! Of course, as always, all the cool stuff has to be kept from us via the great blue sea. Damn you again Japan, you luck bastards!

I will close with a rant:

Another RED SYSTEM!!! WTF!!! Ok, Dreamcast puts out their rare RE version of the Dreamcast system which was the regular Dreamcast, but RED. Then I hear that a limited editions Resident Evil Xbox 360 is in the works and I got excited and guess what? They did it AGAIN! Yeah, let’s paint the system red! Wanna add a zombie on it or at least a cool RE logo? NAAAAHH! Let’s just make it RED!!! Making a red system does not make it a RE system. I guess Virtual Boy was the Resident Evil edition.
*End rant*

The MAN in blue…

My favorite video game character (other than Mario) has to be Mega Man! The tiny little blue powerhouse that steals the powers from his defeated enemies. Such an awesome character trait that I am sure it inspired Mortal Kombat’s Shang Tsung’s “Soul Stealing” power. I had always rocked some Rock Man all the way from NES to the XBLA Arcade titles and I am excited about Mega Man Universe (see further into the post for details).

PC Mega Man??? Yeah, I did not know that Mega Man 1 came out for the PC. In fact, it didn’t. This is a real Mega Man game, but is not a port of the NES classic. I have never played it but read it is pretty bad. They also released a similar type of title for Mega Man 3 for the PC but skipped making a horrible Mega Man 2 for some reason.

What post could be complete without a lot of some sort! This one is of the OG 6 with boxes. The price isn’t that bad (for now) seeing as they are all in the boxes.

I posted this one up because I had never seen this piece of artwork for Mega Man 3. That is because it is the Australian release. Looks QUITE a bit different than the US version. I don’t know which one I dig more.

MEGA MAN! MEGA MAN! Chant it from the “bleachers” with this Foam Mega Buster! Given out at San Diego Comic Con 2010 to promote Mega Man Universe which is coming out for XBLA and PSN.

Here is a video for Mega Man universe showing game play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pptzMQvpQPQ

The full game also has a HUGE level builder which I am sure will be the big selling point of the game.

Check out Mega Man Universe info at: http://www.joystiq.com/game/mega-man-universe

Oddball:

What can I say? I like oddball eBay items! Here are a couple Mega Man ones I found and “like” so I thought I would post em’.

How perfect is this? “E” Energy Tank Energy Drink! PERFECT! The price? Not so much… Damn you Japan and all your awesome exclusives!

Ok, the Halo Cosplay outfit was actually cool looking but this? Really? Not that this would make it any less horrible but it doesn’t even have a helmet! It looks like a big blue Nutcracker costume.
